What is Fireboy and Watergirl 2: Light Temple?
Fireboy and Watergirl 2 is the second chapter of the much-loved co-op puzzle platformer series. This time the two heroes explore the Light Temple, where beams of light are the key to every puzzle. Rotate and move mirrors so the light reaches sensors that open doors, raise platforms and move lifts.
As always, the two characters are opposites: Fireboy is safe in lava but dies in water, and Watergirl is the other way round. You need both of them to reach their own exit door to finish a level.
How to play
- Arrow keys move Fireboy, WASD moves Watergirl.
- Push mirrors and pull levers to steer the beam of light onto sensors.
- Collect red diamonds with Fireboy and blue diamonds with Watergirl.
- Get both characters to their doors to finish the level.
- Playing alone? Switch between the two sets of keys and move one hero at a time.
Tips
- Plan the light path first. Before you move, look at where the beam needs to go and which mirror controls it.
- Take turns. Many puzzles need one hero to hold a platform or light in place while the other moves.
- Go for speed on a second run. Clearing a level fast with all diamonds gives the best rank.

What is special about the Light Temple?
Doors and lifts are powered by light. You turn and push mirrors so a beam of light hits the right sensor, which opens the way forward.
Can two people play on one keyboard?
Yes. One player uses the arrow keys for Fireboy and the other uses WASD for Watergirl.
Why did my level end suddenly?
Fireboy cannot touch water, Watergirl cannot touch fire, and neither can touch the green goo. Touching the wrong pool ends the level.
