About 2 Player Games
Two player games are the easiest way to settle who is better β no online accounts, no waiting for a match. Both players sit at the same computer, one on the left side of the keyboard and one on the right, and the game starts instantly in your browser.
Types of 2 player games
- Sports duels: one-on-one soccer, basketball, tennis and head-ball games where every goal counts.
- Fighting and stickman battles: pick a character, learn the combos and knock your friend out of the arena.
- Racing for two: split-screen or same-track races where bumping your rival off the road is part of the plan.
- Co-op adventures: work together to solve puzzles and reach the exit β neither of you can finish alone.
- Party and mini-game collections: dozens of short challenges, perfect for quick rounds with friends or family.
Controls for two players
In most games Player 1 uses WASD and Player 2 uses the arrow keys, with one or two extra keys each for jumping, shooting or special moves. Check the "How to play" section on each game page before you start. Many games also include a single-player mode against the computer, so you can practise alone first.
Tips for fair matches
Play best of three or best of five β the first round is usually a warm-up. Switch sides between matches, since some keys are easier to reach than others. If one player is much stronger, pick a co-op game instead so you both win together.
All 2 player games here are free and need no download, which makes them great for school breaks, sleepovers and family game nights.
